My Penis is Too Small
We have been brought up in a society that believes the bigger your wage, the more power you have. The same goes with men and their penises. Throughout history erotic art has displayed images of huge cocks to symbolize sexual power and vigor. Men think that having a big dick is a status symbol for sexiness and machismo.
But what about those with a small dick? There is a condition called micropenis which refers to the size of the penis, and which eventually disrupts men’s sexual appetite, and indirectly affects their sexual health.
I think it is an unfortunate combination of words. The use of micro as a prefix automatically conjures up tiny, small and microscopic. These are not words that make you feel good about yourself when applied to your John Thomas!
Micropenis in adults means having a penile length of around three and a half inches, or less. It is the length when erect that needs to be measured not the length when flaccid.
Determining whether you have a micropenis can be done by measuring the size of your dick properly, or through a physical checkup with your doctor. Children diagnosed with micropenises are referred to a pediatric urologist, or a pediatric endocrinologist.
What causes a micropenis?
Micropenis is caused by a hormonal problem which takes place around week fourteen of pregnancy when the penis has been formed. The condition affects about 6% of all men worldwide.
Some of the identifiable causes are deficiency of pituitary growth hormone and/or gonadotropins, mild degrees of androgen insensitivity, a variety of genetic syndromes, and variations in certain homeobox genes. Some types of micropenis can be addressed with growth hormone or testosterone treatment in early childhood.
Surgery is also available to increase penis size in cases of micropenis in adults. The procedure is called phalloplasty and is performed for penile enlargement, although these surgeries tend to have a low satisfaction rating. Sex and the Small Penis
The penis does of course have two functions. One to pass water and the other to shoot sperm in seminal fluid. No matter the size it will do more of the first than the second. Yet the ability to piss is taken as granted but more attention is paid to the second. The sexual drive is very strong and the ability to perform is something that runs through all aspects of our personalities.
If we do not feel good about ourselves it affects our confidence and our sense of self worth. This often results in an aggressive attitude towards other men as if there is a need to appear stronger by way of compensation for having less downstairs.
This is also fuelled by a male attitude that other males are in some way inferior because they have a smaller dick. Thus a negative circle is perpetuated with men wanting to have a bigger dick and feeling superior to those who have a smaller dick.
Its all quite sad really. If you need an operation to fix something that causes you pain do you ask the surgeon how big his cock is before you let him open you up or are you just so grateful that he is going to help you.
You do not think less of a person who has lost a leg or who has blue eyes instead of green so why is the size of his dick important.
Of course you can have sex irrespective of the size of your penis. So enjoy it.
